Ribble at The Cycle Show 2022

April 23, 2022

Are you coming to see Ribble at the Cycle Show 2022? If the answer is yes (and why wouldn't it be) then we have some important information to share. Read on to find out what Ribble bikes you can see and test ride at this year's show.

Ribble at The Cycle Show

After 10 fantastic years at the NEC, the UK's biggest cycling show returns to London in April 2022. The show will run alongside the London eBike festival offering you a unique cycling experience that combines an indoor exhibition with evening theatre shows and an outdoor festival.

As ever, Ribble won't simply be displaying a selection of award-winning bikes at the Ally Pally. We will have two stands at the show where you can view our award-winning range of bikes and chat with the people behind the bikes.

Additionally, we will also be offering meet and greets on the Ribble stand with ex-England legend Geoff Thomas, Cam Jeffers of Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling and Ribble Endurance Athlete Darren Hardy. (see bottom of the blog for more details).

At our main stand, you can view a selection of endurance bikes, mountain bikes, all-road bikes, gravel bikes, hybrid bikes and aero bikes. The exact models on display are:

There is also a dedicated e-bike stand where we will showcase our lightweight e-bike range. You can also take some of our e-bikes for a spin on the demo track (advance booking only).

The Important Bit.

You must book your test ride session in advance. When purchasing tickets online a link to book your test ride slot is included in your confirmation email. Book as early as possible to gain priority access to test ride slots. You will not be able to simply turn up on the day and take a bike for a spin, unfortunately.

Our top tips for attending the demo track.

  • Please arrive at the demo track approximately 5-10 minutes in advance of your session. This gives us a chance to ensure that the bike you wish to ride is fitted with the correct pedals (if you bring your own) and that the saddle height is adjusted to the right height for you.
  • Pedals and helmets will be provided but if you have your own please feel free to bring them along (the pedals fitted to the bikes will be flats). We can swap your pedals onto the bike if you wish to use your preferred shoe/pedal combo for a better test ride experience.
  • We would recommend that you wear clothing appropriate for riding a bike, jeans and dresses look smart but can be problematic when it comes time to throw your leg over a bike!

Ribble at the Cycle Show - test rides

Ok, so what bikes will actually be available for a test ride? This year it will be e-bikes only and these are:

Endurance SL e – Our lightweight carbon e-bike has received rave reviews from the press and customers alike. One of the lightest of its type worldwide, you’d be hard-pressed to notice it is an e-bike until you activate that magical power assist button.

CGR AL e – Why limit your rides to road or off-road when you can have both? The versatile CGR AL e is robust enough to tackle challenging off-road terrain yet fast and lightweight enough for fast-paced road rides. A true one-bike-to-do-it-all.

Hybrid AL e –The Hybrid AL e is our e-leisure bike option. Its relaxed riding position makes it a great choice for those seeking a more leisurely ride for commutes, day trips and rides out with the family.

Hybrid AL e - Offering all of the benefits of the standard Hybrid AL e this step-through variant offers easy access due to its confidence-inspiring hop on/off design.

Post-ride Information

The team at the test track will be busy throughout the day adjusting saddle heights as well as removing and fitting pedals. For this reason, if you finish the ride and wish to discuss the bikes in further detail the team will point you in the direction of our main stand. At the main stand, you can speak to our dedicated team of advisors who are there to assist you with any queries you may have.

Above all, from all of us here at Ribble who will be in attendance, we look forward to seeing and speaking to people who share the same passion for all things cycling related as we do. We wish you safe travels and we’ll see you there!
